• The ‘Code of Ethics in Banking’ is drawn up and is adopted across the Romanian banking sector;
• RAB becomes a full member of the European Mortgage Federation;
• RAB becomes a member of the EMEA SWIFT Alliance (ESA);
• Conclusion of the Convention on applying the SEPA standards to the National Payments Schemes;
• conclusion of the Convention on the interbank settlement of debit instruments (cheques, bills of exchange and promissory notes payable in lei issued in an old format or which cannot be settled by truncation);
