The first SWIFT Business Forum in Romania will take place on the 15th of September in the premises of Romanian Banking Institute.

The Romanian banking community adopted the Common Rules on domestic personal current account switching, based on the Common Principles for Bank Account Switching developed by the European Banking Industry Committee (EBIC), which were adapted to the national reglementations and practices.
EBIC has developed this set of Common Principles in light of the European Commission’s focus on bank account switching. The Common Principles were implemented by all the national banking communities from the member states of the European Union.

Organized by the Romanian Banking Association and the Romanian Banking Institute, the SEPA National Forum's objective is to ensure the dialogue with the customers of the credit institution and their associations, with the local and the financial public administrations, to provide them with all the information regarding the status of the SEPA project and to debate all the aspects related with the SEPA implementation.
